New features in Procountor version 63.0

Version 63.0 of Procountor was published on Saturday, April 23rd.

General

In April’s version update, we released several improvements to handling supplier announcements and average hourly feature (payroll). In addition, we implemented the yearly tax form changes according to the instructions by the Tax Administration.

Updates to supplier announcements

The supplier announcement can be used to inform the suppliers about (new) invoicing addresses. See our instructions for generating and sending supplier announcements HERE.

In this version update, we will release several improvements to supplier announcements based on user feedback.

Presenting the company’s information more clearly

We have added the company name and business id to new supplier announcements. The information is added to the beginning of announcement. Please note that the Word document template hasn’t been changed similarly, as the company name and id are already visible in the signature and footer information.

Improving the navigation to the announcement tool

We have enhanced navigation to Supplier announcement to be disabled if company doesn’t have any active e-invoice receiving contracts available.

The new navigation restriction helps the users to see more clearly why the supplier announcement tool is disabled. As the button is in the same view as the invoicing addresses, the users can add or activate their e-invoice addresses, if necessary, enabling the use of the supplier announcement.

Creating announcements in Swedish

It is now possible to create supplier announcements in Swedish, regardless of the user’s choice of language in Procountor UI. The language can be selected when generating the announcement. Both the announcement text and the Word template are provided in Swedish.

Average hourly handling

In April’s update, we will release some improvements to the average hourly handling. The average hourly handling feature is still being progressed, and you can expect some new features in the following months as well.

Updating the average hourly value when the payday is changed

If the payday in the salary slip is changed, the average hourly value according to the new payday will be updated for the salary types for which the average hourly value are used.

New column in the salary type table

In the “Salary types for paying with Average hourly” table in the Average hourly settings, a Unit column has been added to show whether the salary type’s unit is hours or pieces.

Average hourly value is not saved in case there is no value

The new average hourly values are not updated for the employee if the calculated average hourly value is 0.00 or less.

Keeping the average hourly value in copied salary slips

When copying the salary slip to the new salary slip, the value of the average hourly will be the same as it was on the original salary slip, even if the average hourly value on the payment date have changed. This will give the credit salary slip the same information as the original salary slip.

Indicating more clearly when the employee does not use average hourly feature

The Working time info tab of the Employee Register defines which average hourly setting is used for an employee if the company has enabled the Average Hourly feature. The setting selection list has been changed so that the text of the first blank selection is changed to “Average hourly not in use”. This option is used for an employee who does not use the Average hourly feature.

If “Average hourly not in use” is selected for an employee, the employee will not be shown a current average hourly value and average hourly value won’t be used, even if the employee has average hourly values.
