Tilitiimi T&M and Finago Procountor grow together
Tilitiimi T&M is a family business with roots going back to 1997. The firm serves primarily micro and small business owners as well as associations across Finland. At the heart of everything they do is a personal, consultative approach to client service. Finago Procountor helps the firm work more efficiently and deliver better, wider range services to its clients. It also plays a significant role in the firm’s ongoing development.
Tilitiimi T&M‘s story began with the accounting firm founded by the mother of current Managing Director Terhi-Elina Mansner. When her mother retired in 2017, Mansner took the helm and set her sights firmly on the future.
“What matters most to me in running a business is the opportunity to develop and grow, as well as to build my own career on my own terms. And it’s genuinely wonderful to be able to offer that same opportunity to our staff,” says Mansner.
Digital financial management doesn’t have to be daunting
Tilitiimi’s collaboration with Finago Procountor started at a client’s request. That client had already moved to Procountor, and gradually more followed. A few years back, Tilitiimi launched a digitalisation project, migrating clients across to Procountor at scale. Procountor has supported the transition throughout with software training, coaching and sales support.
“As with any change, getting everyone on board was a little tricky at first, but it picked up quickly. Without Procountor’s support, we wouldn’t be where we are today,” Mansner reflects.
Digitalisation has enabled more efficient ways of working, with daily routines increasingly automated. That efficiency has freed up capacity to offer clients a broader range of services, including sustainability reporting and more in-depth financial monitoring. Remote working options and smoother task management have also improved staff wellbeing. Now that almost all Tilitiimi’s clients have made the move to digital, Mansner is keen to reassure anyone still on the fence.
“Clients are often nervous about moving from paper-based bookkeeping to a digital system but that worry is completely unnecessary. The transition is genuinely smooth and straightforward. In practice, clients don’t need to do a thing since we handle it all on their behalf.”
Finago Procountor supports the firm’s growth
Mansner’s own vision for Tilitiimi T&M is the compass that guides the firm forward. Procountor has been a meaningful part of that journey.
“Procountor has supported our growth. Since we adopted the software, our client base has increased, including existing Procountor users.” – Terhi-Elina Mansner, CEO, Tilitiimi T&M
A few years’ experience of digitalisation have built up real Procountor expertise within the team, which benefits both existing and future clients.
“One of our strengths is the depth of Procountor knowledge we have in-house. That makes us capable of training clients in how to use the software themselves. During onboarding, we walk through how to submit materials, get clients up to speed with the solution, and agree on the regular monthly and quarterly meetings they need.”

Moving forward together
Tilitiimi’s client base and Mansner’s own experience has made serving micro and small business owners a cause close to her heart. She’s also highlights Finago Procountor Solo, the bookkeeping tool designed for solo entrepreneurs.
“Procountor Solo is built for solo entrepreneurs. It’s an easy, accessible way to make the move to a digital system.”
Mansner believes the journey ahead for Tilitiimi and Procountor will carry far. Current projects are set to continue, with a particular focus on expanding the value adding services to clients. Solopreneur-oriented Mansner has found one of the most valuable lessons along the way to be the power of collaboration.
“The support I’ve received from Procountor has inspired me to keep pushing the business forward and to bring the whole team along with me. I’ve realised during this project that I can reach my goals together with my people. We do it as a team, and that’s how we move forward.”
